What is it?
The process for requesting a new or replacement device or add-on/accessory for current employees, requesting a new device for new hires, requesting an existing device be repurposed (auxiliary departments only), requesting devices for a University event, and/or requesting a student/shared device.
*Please note: A separate request should be made for each individual device needed (excluding event requests).

How to request it?
Please submit the request form on this page to notify ITS of your request.
Please note: If the request is for a new hire device, tenure track faculty and full-time staff will receive new computers. Non-tenure track faculty and part-time staff receive best-available devices from ITS inventory.
How to use it?
After form submission, request will be reviewed by ITS and you will be notified of approval/denial. More information may need to be collected upon approval.

How much does it cost?
New Hire Device Requests
There are no costs for new hire standard device requests.
Replacement | Student/GA/Shared | Event Device Requests
There are no costs for replacement and shared/student device requests made by non-auxiliary departments.
Auxiliary Device Requests
BGSU auxiliaries requesting new devices are charged based on the make and model of hardware purchased. Auxiliaries requesting a device to replace an existing device (Replacement Device) can receive a credit toward the purchase of the replacement device. New Computer Purchase & Add-On/Accessory Requests
Costs for new computer purchases and add-on/accessory requests are dependent on the system and specific piece of equipment.
