Unable to Scan Duo QR Code


What do I do if am unable to scan the Duo QR code?


If you are attempting to add a new device to Duo and are unable to scan or recognize the Duo QR code:

  1. On the QR code screen, select the link that reads Or, have an activation link emailed to you instead.
  2. Enter your email address.
  3. Navigate to your email inbox and locate the email message from Duo Security.
  4. Select the link in the email message.
  5. If asked which app to use to open the link, select Duo Mobile
  6. Duo Mobile will open.
  7. Select Continue to complete the enrollment process.
