Office Devices: Request Move or Return

Who can use it?

What is it?

Faculty/staff relocating to a different office/location on campus can request assistance moving their computer and/or phone equipment from one area of the university to another. Please provide (10) business days notice prior to your move to allow us to plan accordingly. If ITS does not have enough advance notice, certain functions may not be available immediately following your move.

It is BGSU standard operating procedure that systems are assigned to an employee and stay with that employee until either it is replaced by ITS, or the employee leaves BGSU; at which time it will be returned to ITS inventory. If an employee moves departments or offices, the system will move with them.

If you are moving your phone to a new location on campus, you may move it yourself without contacting the ITS.

If you have a device that is no longer needed, it should be returned to ITS inventory. Complete the form on this page to schedule a campus pickup.

Please use the Request Move/Return form on this page to notify ITS and request assistance moving your computer and phone equipment, or to return a device that is no longer needed.

How to use it?

ITS will review the submitted request and reach out to schedule the move/return when both you and our staff are available, per your provided available time(s).

There are no costs associated with this service.
