Can I leave items unpublished in my Canvas course?
Answer
Canvas allows individual items to be published or unpublished by instructors. Publishing a course does NOT publish all of the items in the course. Instructions for publishing a course are available here.
If a part of a Canvas Course is blank, it will not appear to students. This means that if any modules, assignments, quizzes, discussions, or pages are left unpublished, these options will not appear to students.
