How can I restrict access to my Canvas quiz based on location?

This guide will walk you through the process of restricting a Canvas quiz to only work in a specific computer lab on campus. Below is a list of labs that can be limited.

Before you start, you will need to consider whether it a individual student entire class. You may need to contact the Registrar office if the entire class is going to use the lab.
With the correct network range in place:
- Edit the quiz you wish to restrict and locate the section entitled Quiz Restrictions.
- Check the box next to Filter IP Addresses.
- In the box that appears below the checkbox, enter the network address range with /24 after the address.
- An example would be 129.1.30.0/24
- Save your quiz.
