Request New SharePoint Site/MS Team

Who can use it?

BGSU faculty, staff and students.

What is it?

The process for requesting a new SharePoint Site or Microsoft (MS) Team.

How to request it?

Submit the request form on this page to request a Site/Team be created.

Users requesting a Site or Team MUST complete the SharePoint: Site Owner training in Bridge prior to the creation of their Site. We also recommend completing SharePoint: Basic User Training and the Microsoft Teams Training

The creation of a new Microsoft Team automatically creates a corresponding SharePoint Site. Files shared within the Team are stored in this SharePoint Site.

Please note: Those requesting a Site/Team must be the Site Owner. A Site Owner has full control of all aspects of the site. Students interested in creating a Site are required to have a full-time Faculty, Emeriti, or Staff representative serve as Site Owner. The representative must oversee and request the site.
