Why won't my Windows 7 University-owned device connect to the BGSU network?


Microsoft ended support for devices running versions of Windows older than the Windows 10 operating system on January 14, 2020. As a result, BGSU no longer allows University-owned devices with operating systems older than Windows 10 to connect to the BGSU network. Contact Information Technology Services (ITS) to have your University device upgraded to Windows 10 and network access will be restored.  If you no longer need this device, please return it to ITS inventory.

This was communicated to all BGSU faculty and staff via email on January 2 and January 9, 2020.
