Choosing a Default Quiz Engine

How can I make a quiz engine my default?

Answer

Canvas now as two quiz engines. When creating a new quiz, you will be prompted to choose between the Classic Quizzes or New Quizzes quiz engines.

To set one quiz engine as your default:

  1. Create a new quiz. 
  2. Select the quiz engine you would like to use. 
  3. Check the box next to Remember my choice for this course. 

To reset your default quiz engine choice: 

  1. Select any course then select Quizzes from the navigation pane. 
  2. Select the ellipses (…) next to the +Quiz button. 
  3. Select Reset quiz engine choice.
