What do I need to do if selected for an upgrade?
Answer
If your device is selected for a version upgrade, please leave your device on campus, plugged in, locked, powered on and lid open (laptop only). ITS will attempt to push the upgrade overnight. If successful, you should be able to log in the next morning with an updated Windows version.
If you are off-campus or working remotely when the upgrade is pushed, the upgrade will be applied the next time your machine connects to the BGSU network on campus.
If issues are encountered, an ITS support technician may need to come to your office to update your machine by hand.
