What Windows operating system (OS) version am I currently running?

Answer

To check your current Windows OS version:

  1. Select the Windows Start button (in bottom left hand corner of desktop). 
  2. Select Settings (gear icon). 
  3. Select System. 
  4. Select About. 
  5. The Version number is available under the Windows specifications header.
