Zoom Access & Sign-In Information

If your personal Zoom account does NOT use your BGSU Email Address:

If you created a Zoom account using anything other than a BGSU Email address, you may still want to convert it over to our BGSU Enterprise Account. The most common reasons for doing so are:

• To receive a refund for a personal pro account.
• To retain access to online recordings or existing meetings.
• To consolidate down to using only one account inside of Zoom.

If you would prefer to use two accounts, you are not required to covert it to the BGSU Enterprise Account.

To convert any personal account to the BGSU Enterprise account, that personal account must list your BGSU email address. Follow this guide to change the email address on your account to your BGSU email address.

Once your personal account is associated with your BGSU email address, contact the ITS service desk at 419-372-0999 or ITSchat.bgsu.edu. They will generate a request to add you to the BGSU enterprise account which will send you an email invite. Once you have that email, select the link in the message and follow these steps:

Convert Basic Personal Zoom to BGSU Zoom Account using BGSU Email Address

1. Enter your BGSU email address and password.
2. Select the button that says "Confirm your email address" on the window that appears.
3. Check your BGSU email and select the option to "Switch to the new account"
4. Review the information on what happens when you select this invitation and then select "I Acknowledge and Switch"
5. Check your BGSU email and until you see the message that your account has been switched.
6. You will be redirected to instructions for obtaining a refund if you had personally purchased a Zoom Pro subscription using your BGSU email address.

Convert Pro Personal Zoom to BGSU Zoom Account using BGSU Email Address

1. Enter your BGSU email address and password.
2. Select the button that says "Switch to the New Account" on the window that appears.
3. Review the information on the page that appears and then select "I Acknowledge and Switch"
4. Check your BGSU email and select the option to "Switch to the new account"
5. Review the information on the page that appears and then select "Next Review Account Balance"
6. Review the information on the refund page, select the option to send the refund to yourself, and then select "I agree to Join the New Account"
7. Select the button that says "Finish"
8. You will be redirected to instructions for obtaining a refund if you had personally purchased a Zoom Pro subscription using your BGSU email address.
