Why doesn't BGSU support the Canvas Google Drive integration?

Instructure (Canvas) has deprecated it's legacy Google Drive integration.
It is recommended that all instructors and students use the Office 365 Canvas integration for the submission of assignments and/or file collaboration because BGSU officially offers and supports the Office 365 suite of applications for instruction and course work. Those currently using the Google Drive integration are advised to transition to Office 365 as the Google integration experiences numerous issues that Information Technology Services (ITS) cannot support.
