How do I join a Microsoft Teams meeting?

Answer

Join a Meeting From inside MS Teams

  1. Navigate to your Teams calendar and select the meeting.
  2. Select Join
  3. Choose your audio and video settings. 
    • Camera on/off
    • Blur background
    • Mutemicrophone 
  4. Select Join Now.

Join a Meeting From an Email Invite

Meetings scheduled in Teams will send a meeting invite via email. 

  1. Navigate to the email invitation.
  2. At the bottom of the email, select Click here to join the meeting.
  3. If you have the Teams application, select Open Microsoft Teams. If you do not, you can choose to download it or Join on the web
  4. Choose your audio and video settings. 
    • Camera on/off
    • Blur background
    • Mute microphone 
  5.  Select Join Now.

Join a Meeting From Outlook Calendar

Meetings scheduled in Teams will sync with your Outlook calendar. 

  1. Navigate to your Outlook calendar.
  2. Select and open the meeting on your calendar.
  3. At the bottom of the open calendar event, select Click here to join the meeting.
  4. If you have the Teams application, select Open Microsoft Teams. If you do not, you can choose to download it or Join on the web
  5. Choose your audio and video settings. 
    • Camera on/off
    • Blur your background
    • Mute your microphone 
  6. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Select Join Now.
