Managing Notification Settings


How do I manage notifications in Microsoft Teams?


The default notification settings in Microsoft Teams may not be set up to your preference. Follow the instructions below to change your notification settings.

  1. Select the three ellipsis next to your profile picture/icon from the top right corner of Microsoft Teams.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Select Notifications.
  4. Make changes to notification options based on your preference.
    1. Banner - Pop-up notification on your device screen.
    2. Email - Generates an email with the message/notification information.
    3. Feed - Shows in your Activity feed.
