How do I switch between my call center devices in Cisco Finesse?
Answer
Cisco Finesse provides call center users with the option to switch between telephone devices (for example; university desk phone and Cisco Jabber softphone) upon login. Users with only one device configured will not be prompted to select or switch devices.
Instructions for selecting/changing the device you wish to use are listed below:
- Log in to Cisco Finesse.
- You will be presented with the Select Your Preferred Device menu.
- The devices available to you will be listed here.
- Desk phones are listed as CISCO + Model Number (for example; Cisco 8945).
- Softphone is listed as Jabber Desktop.
- Select the device you would like to use.
- Select Continue.
- You are now logged in using the selected device.
- To confirm the device you are using, select the User Options menu from the top right corner of the screen.
To switch to a different device log out and back into Cisco Finesse and follow the steps listed above.
