How do I request an external tool (LTI) integration for Canvas?
Answer
LTIs (Learning Tool Interoperability) allow for external tools to be integrated into Canvas to add enhanced functionality. To request an LTI be integrated into Canvas please submit a Software Procurement Request* to ITS.
LTI support for faculty and students will be provided by the LTI vendor. A list of approved Canvas LTIs, including support contact information, is maintained on the Center for Faculty Excellence's (CFE's) Canvas [LMS] webpage under approved external tools.
*Please note, Canvas LTI requests are subject to the same review process as all other requested University software. Software requests typically take a minimum of 45 days to be routed through the approval process.
