How can I give a student a unique due date in Canvas?

Answer

  1. Navigate to the Canvas course that has the quiz you need to edit.
  2. Select Quizzes from the left-hand menu.
  3. Select the name of the specific quiz you need to edit.
  4. Select Edit to change the due-date settings in the quiz.
  5. Scroll down to the Assign settings. Select Add +.
  6. Under the Assign To section, choose the name of the student that you would like to create a unique due date for.
  7. Enter the Due Available From and Available To dates.
  8. Select the orange Save button at the bottom of the page.
  9. Select Edit again to see the two due dates for the individual student and everyone else under the Assign settings.
