How Can I Avoid Joining a Meeting as a Guest in Microsoft Teams?

Sometimes, when joining a Microsoft Teams meeting via Outlook I join the meeting as a  “guest” and my name still shows as an invitee who is not in the meeting. Is there a way resolve this? 

When a user selects the Join Meeting link from the Outlook invite and joins from the web application, they must log in for their name to appear. This issue is also resolved by having the Microsoft Teams application installed prior to the meeting.
