New SSO/SSO Change Request

BGSU faculty and staff. 

The process for requesting a new single sign-on configuration or modification to an existing single sign-on configuration.

We can/will support:

• Configure Okta SSO (IDP)
  • SAML 2.0 and OpenID Connect are our supported protocols
• Debugging on the Okta side
• Provide SP configuration such as IDP Meta data

We cannot/will not support:

• InCommon
• CAS (Central Authentication Service (CAS) Protocol)
• Active Directory or LDAP for authentication
• Consult on custom code for SSO (SP)
• Configure the client application 
• Debugging of the client SSO configuration, ie reviewing logs on their end
• We will NOT test/validate their app

If your SSO implementation requires a data interface, you should submit a Project Evaluation Request.
