Set Default Browser on Mac Device

How do I set a default browser on a Mac device?

Follow the instructions below to set a default browser on your Mac machine.

1. Select System Preferences from the Apple menu in the top left corner of desktop. 
2. Select General.
3. Select your preferred Default web browser from the options listed in the pop-up menu. 

MacOS Ventura and higher

1. Select System Settings from the Apple menu in the top left corner of desktop. 
2. Select Desktop & Dock.
3. Scroll down to Default web browser
4. Click the dropdown menu next to it to select your choice from the list of installed browsers
