Installing or Running Software As A Device Admin

Once I have a Device Admin Account on my Windows computer, how do I use it to install software or run applications?

Windows 10

The username for your account will look like the example below. Please be sure to replace the word user with your BGSU Username.

Example: .\userlocal

The password for your account will not sync to your BGSU Password and will have been setup with you during the first time setup.

1. Locate the file on your computer's desktop, documents, or downloads and right-click on the file. 
2. From the menu that appears, select Run as Administrator.
3. When prompted enter your device admin account username and password.
