Accessing Submissions of a Student Dropped From a Canvas Course Section

If a student drops a course or transfers to another section, how do I access the student's submissions and discussion posts from the original course?

When a student is dropped from a course, the enrollment status is set to concluded. To view the submissions from a concluded student.

1. Navigate to the course in question and open the Gradebook.
2. Select the three ellipses within the Student Name column.
3. Select Show Concluded Enrollments.
4. View the assignments submitted in the Gradebook for concluded students.
   • Be sure to reset the Gradebook view when done, so that you are grading assignments for active students.
5. Discussion posts will be in the original course section. Discussion posts are always visible, regardless of the student status.
