Updating MS Teams Meeting Lobby Participant Settings

Question

How do I update my MS Teams participant settings to change who can/can't bypass the meeting lobby?

Answer

Microsoft Teams meetings have a feature called a "lobby" (similar to a waiting room) that can be used to keep attendees from joining the meeting until the organizer permits them. BGSU's meetings are configured to allow people in my organization and guests to bypass the lobby by default. To change these settings, you can do so once you begin the meeting by following the steps in this article.
