Add/Remove Subscribers in Bulk (Windows Device)
If you are the owner of a list(s) on BGSU's LISTSERV Server you can import an ASCII text file that contains the email address and names of each member of the group with one email address and name per line. The list can be members you want to add or members you want to delete.
First you must create an ASCII file using Notepad on your PC and create a list with one subscriber's full email address and name on each line, then save the file with a .txt extension. Once you have created the textfile with the updated subscriber's, follow the instructions below to upload them into the LISTSERV.

Notes on Input File Used for Bulk Subscriber Import
- The list server does not recognize Microsoft Office documents (Word, Excel, etc.).
- If you have a list of emails on an Excel or Word document you will need to copy/paste them into a Text Document instead.
- To open a Text Document right-click on an empty space on your device's desktop, then select New followed by Text Document.
- .The list server also does not understand the use of semicolons to separate emails, unlike Outlook
- If your list of emails are separated by semicolons you will need to put each email on a separate line and delete the semicolons.
- Be sure to save your edited email list.

Unable to Remove Users From a LISTSERV
You must be the list owner to remove users from a LISTSERV. If the list owner cannot edit or remove a subscriber's configuration:
- Verify the email address of the subscriber.
- If you notice a fault icon (character resembles a diamond with a question mark) in the subscribers email address, this indicates the email address is not recognized, or the address has become corrupt.
- Copy the list of corrupted subscribers into a text document (Such as Note Pad or Text Edit (Mac)).
- Remove the problem email address(es).
- Save the text document.
- The list owner can then use the Bulk Operations function (mentioned above) to remove all current subscribers and then add the modified list of subscribers back to the list
