What is the difference between assignment due dates and availability dates in Canvas?
Answer
An assignment due date is a date on which students must submit their assignments for credit. In addition to setting a due date for an assignment, instructors can set availability dates for assignments that specifies a specific date range when students can submit the assignment.
When availability dates are set, students will not be able to submit assignments before or after the specified date range.
