Accessing OnBase

Question

How do I access the OnBase application?

Answer

To access OnBase, you must have an account provisioned. Your department's OnBase Functional Lead can request an account by submitting an OnBase Access/Security Request form. Once you have an account provisioned, access OnBase by following the steps in the expandable panels in this article. 

 

Please Note: You must be connected to the BGSU network (on-campus) or BGSU VPN (off-campus) to access OnBase. 

 

Access OnBase Desktop Application (Unity) - Only Available for Windows Devices

  1. Select and open the OnBase Unity Client by searching the Window Menu for the term Unity Client.  
    • If you do not have the Unity Client installed on your device, Windows users can download it directly from the Microsoft Software Center. macOS users must use the web application. 
  2. Enter your BGSU username and password.
  3. Select Login. 

 

Access OnBase Web Application

  1. Navigate to onbase.bgsu.edu. 
  2. Log in with your BGSU username and password.
