Technology Review Outcomes

What are the various types of technology review outcomes?

Technology review requests typically have one of the following outcomes: 

• If technology requested has previously been approved, you will receive a response in your ticket confirming that the request is approved.
  • You may need to work with the BGSU Purchasing department if you need to make a purchase of the approved technology.
• If technology requested is denied, you will receive a ticket communication explaining the justification for the denial.
• If the request is for NEW technology, or for technology that has NOT previously been approved, it is required to go through ITS technology review process. The review will proceed and result in either approval or denial.
  • You may need to work with the BGSU Purchasing department if you need to make a purchase of the approved technology.
