What classifies a device as a BGSU secondary device?


A secondary device is any additional, non-primary device requested for or purchased by a campus academic or business unit for a BGSU employee’s individual use. A secondary device is assigned to a single user. Secondary device requests are approved on a case-by-case basis and require a specific business purpose. Because the standard University-owned device is a laptop, which offers all of the same capabilities as a desktop device but with the added advantages of mobility; secondary devices should be limited.
