How do I upload files to ZDAM?
Answer
ZDAM users, based on permissions, can submit their files to the DAM by following the steps below.
- From the ZDAM homepage, select Directory Browser from the top navigation menu.
- Navigate to the destination folder to which you would like to upload a file(s) using the left navigation.
- Right-click the folder name and select Upload to Folder.
- If you would like to create a new child folder, you can do so now by right-clicking the parent folder and selecting the Create Folder . Then select Upload to Folder after right-clicking the new folder
- On the Upload Assets screen, select the Asset Type being uploaded.
- If more than one type of asset, it will default to photo.
- Enter the metadata for the asset(s).
- Select if you would like to add the upload(s) to a Collection.
- Select Next when you have completed entering this information.
- On the next screen, select Add File to search for the files on your device.
- When you have found the file, select the file and then select Open.
- Select Start Upload.
- Note: You can monitor progress on assets uploaded if you open the Show Upload Log.
- When the upload is complete, your files will be available in the selected destination folder.
- To add additional files, repeat the steps above.
