How can I create/use a contact list in webmail?

Creating a Contact List

  1. Log in to BGSU webmail
  2. Select the People icon from the left navigation menu. 
  3. Select the drop-down arrow next to New Contact.
  4. Select New contact list.
  5. Give the list a name.
  6. Enter the name or email address of the person(s) you would like to add to the contact list and select their name when it appears in the list. 
    1. Repeat this step to add each person to your contact list. 
  7. Enter description for your list if you'd like.
  8. Select Create. 

Viewing a Contact List

  1. Log in to BGSU webmail
  2. Select the People icon from the left navigation menu. 
  3. Select Your contact lists from the left navigation menu.
  4. Select the name of your contact list from the list that appears to view the contacts.
  5. From here, you can choose to send an email to the contacts in the list 

Emailing a Contact List

You can email a contact a couple of ways, both are outlined below.

Option One

  1. Navigate to your contact list by following the Viewing a Contact List instructions above.
  2. Select the send email button. 
  3. Write and send your email as you normally would

Option Two

  1. Log in to BGSU webmail
  2. From the email window, select New Message.
  3. In the To field, enter the contact list name.
  4. Write and send your email as you normally would.
