What is SAS (Statistical Analysis System) software?
Answer
The SAS software is available to BGSU faculty, staff and students to run large statistical operations. SAS is available in many campus computer labs. Faculty can request it be installed in a new lab locations using this form or on a University-owned devices by submitting a request here.
Students may request SAS be installed on a personal device by contacting Information Technology Services (ITS).
Additional Information Regarding SAS for Personal Devices
- SAS installs on personal machines take between 2-4 business days.
- SAS can only be installed on Windows devices.
- SAS for Mac must be installed via Virtual Box. Virtual Box requires a Windows license, which can be obtained by e5 on the hub.
- A SAS install is approximately 26GB.
