Academic Technology Equipment Checkout Request

Who can use it?

BGSU faculty and staff.

What is it?

Information Technology Services (ITS) allows faculty and staff members to request a variety of equipment intended to enhance the value of education and other events at BGSU.

ITS will provide basic equipment for any class scheduled by the Office of Registration and Records in a General Use Classroom without separate approval.

Separate ITS approval is required in the following situations:

  • Scheduled class in any Non-General Use Classroom.
  • Any event other than a scheduled class.
  • Requests for large amounts of technology.

Equipment requests for Olscamp 101 or any space in the Bowen-Thompson Student Union must go through the Office of Conference and Event Services.

How to request it?

Please submit the request form on this page.

How to use it?

To help ensure that we have adequate equipment to fulfill all requests, we ask that you please submit your requests as far in advance as possible (preferably 48-72 hours in advance). To ensure everyone receives the equipment they request, rental equipment should be returned immediately after your classes/events.

Semester-long rentals can be scheduled; however, you are still required to pick up and drop off the equipment each day. We will keep your request open as long as necessary.

For more information, please contact our office

How much does it cost?

There is no cost for these services when the equipment will be used in a General Use Classroom for a scheduled class.

Equipment provided by ITS through Conference and Event Services will have a cost set by the Conference and Event Services Office.
