What is it?
BGUnix is a Sun SunFire V440 server running the Solaris 10 operating system. It is generally used by students and faculty to run various Unix applications such as compilers, mathematical packages, and simulations and is intended to serve Bowling Green State University's instructional computing needs. It is designed to share resources among a large number of users and gives priority to smaller jobs.

Accounts can be requested by clicking the “Request BGUnix Account” button on this page, or by logging into the MyBGSU portal and following these instructions.
How to use it?
