Issue
Instructor receives an error message "Sorry, we could not process your request, max-points - Value must be an integer" after entering assignment point values.

Cause
When creating assignments, Canvas allows for assignments to total a point value that is not a whole number (for example, 12.5). However, the Turnitin service does not allow these values.
Resolution
When creating assignments, instructors must assign point values in the form of a whole number.
