How do I use paginated reports in Power BI?

Run/View a Power BI Paginated Report


  1. Navigate to the Power BI web application.
  2. Sign in using your BGSU username and password
  3. Select Workspaces from the left navigation menu and select the workspace where the report exists.
    • Since some reports exist in folders within the workspace, you may need to select a folder to view the report.
  4. Select the paginated report to open it.
  5. Complete the parameters; scroll horizontally to see additional parameters if needed.
  6. Select View Report to run.
  7. To view a printable format:
    1. Select View from the report menu at the top.
    2. Select Use Print Layout.
  8. To use the page navigation controls:
    1. Select Home from the report menu at the top. 
  9. To export a report:
    1. Select Home from the report menu at the top. 
    2. Select Export. 
    3. Choose from the following export options: Excel, CSV, PDF.
  10. Some reports contain sub-report links in blue:
    1.  Select the blue text to open the sub-report.
    2. When done with the sub-report, select Back to go back to the main report.
