Connecting To BGlinux & Authenticating via Duo

Question

How do I connect to the BGlinux server and authenticate via Duo Two Factor Authentication?

Answer

  1. Select a method/protocol for accessing BGlinux. 
  2. When prompted for the host name, enter bglinux.bgsu.edu.
  3. Login with your BGSU username and password. 
  4. You will be prompted to authenticate via Duo Two Factor Authentication.
    1. Select your preferred method of authentication from options listed by typing the number on your keyboard. 
      • Using username "XXXX". xxxx@bglinuxtemp's password: Duo two-factor login for username   Enter a passcode or select one of the following options:   1. Duo Push to XXX-XXX-XXXX 2. Phone call to XXX-XXX-XXXX 3. Phone call to XXX-XXX-XXXX 4. SMS passcodes to XXX-XXX-XXXX   Passcode or option (1-4):
    2. Type in the passcode received via the selected authentication, or if push was selected, verify using the mobile app.
      • Using username "XXXX". XXXX@bglinuxtemp's password: Duo two-factor login for username   Enter a passcode or select one of the following options:   1. Duo Push to XXX-XXX-XXXX 2. Phone call to XXX-XXX-XXXX 3. Phone call to XXX-XXX-XXXX 4. SMS passcodes to XXX-XXX-XXXX   Passcode or option (1-4): 1   Pushed a login request to your device... Success. Logging you in... [XXXX@bglinuxtemp ~]$
    3. You should now be connected to the BGlinux server.
