Why do I receive an Invalid URL Error when trying to open Respondus Lockdown Browser after downloading?

If you downloaded the Respondus Lockdown Browser application via Aleks (McGraw-Hill) you may receive an Invalid URL Error when trying to open the application within Canvas. Note: This version will be listed as Lockdown Browser OEM in your applications list.
If you receive this error, you will need to download the BGSU Respondus Lockdown Browser using the link and instructions in this article.
