Retrieving a Print Job

Once you have sent your print job from the lab computer or your personal device to a University printer, visit any campus printer to retrieve your document(s). Once you have arrived at the printer:

  1. Swipe your BGSU ID card or enter your BGSU username and password to display a list of your queued print jobs.
  2. Select the appropriate print job from the list and select print.
  3. Once your document has been released, the printer touch panel will display print job released successfully.
  4. Retrieve your document(s).
  5. Log out of the printer by selecting Log Out in the top right corner of the touch panel, OR your account will be automatically logged out after approximately one minute of inactivity.

Printing Funds and Fees

Standard printing costs apply.  Print jobs left in the queue for hours will be automatically deleted from the list with no charges being applied.

Available printer account funds are displayed to the student in a pop-up window prior to submitting each print job. Print funds are stored in the student's BG Bucks of the student’s BG1 Card. Please reference this article for information on adding print funds to a BG1 Card.

Students can also view available print funds by logging in to papercut.bgsu.edu with their BGSU credentials (users must be on campus to access PaperCut).
