How do I know if my course is published?
Answer
Is your course missing in Canvas? It may not really be missing; it may be that your instructor has not published the course. To confirm whether or not your course is published, follow these instructions:
- Navigate to Canvas.
- Select Courses (book icon) from the left.
- Select All Courses.
- Find the course in question. If the course shows as published, you will see a yes under published. Otherwise it will show no.
- If no, please contact your instructor.
- You can select the star symbol to set the course as a favorite.
If the course is under Future Enrollments, either the course is not published or the course settings are set so that the course is not yet available due to the instructor having scheduled the start date for a date in the future. Please contact your instructor if you believe the course should be published but it is not.
