Issue
- When playing a DVD, the audio doesn't work from the classroom computer
- The audio is not working in the classroom
- The sound quality in the classroom is extremely poor
- I hear sounds from the speakers when no audio is playing
- The audio in this room is fuzzy and hard to hear
Environment
BGSU classrooms
Resolution
- Confirm that audio is not muted on the touch panel.
- Confirm that the speakers are not muted on the classroom computer.
- Confirm that the audio on the video player (e.g. YouTube/VLC) is not muted or turned down.
- Confirm that Extron HDMI is set as the audio output in the computer’s audio settings.
- Change the input on the control panel to a different source, and then back again.
- Restart the classroom computer.
