The theatre and film area has a film scanner: RetroScan Universal 4K Mark-II Movie Scanner System. This device is attached to a computer and uses the software: RetroScan Universal Mark-II (formerly called MovieStuff) and is used to transfer/scan movie film into a digital format.

The scanner is connected to the computer via a TP-Link to USB Ethernet Adapter, using a TP-Link Power Injector. The department contact(s) have the link/URL to download the required software: RetroScan Universal Mark-II (aka MovieStuff). The software must be licensed after installation.

For the software to operate properly, an admin account is required. A local account .\RetroScan was created. The software will only work under the user profile it was installed under. The computer also must be in the NonStandard-NoLAPS-FWRules OU in Active Directory.
