How to Reset Your Security Question

How do I reset my security question?

Okta 

1. Login to the MyBGSU portal.
2. Select IT Service Desk from the top navigation menu.
3. Select BGSU Password Management from the left navigation menu.
4. Review selected question under Forgotten Password Question heading.
5. To select or create a new security question or view your security question answer , select Edit. 
6. Select Create your own security question or select a question from the drop down.
   1. If Create your own security question  is selected. Enter your question in the Your custom security question box.
7. Enter your response in the Answer box.
8. Select Save.
9. The following screen will show your question.
   • Follow the Guidelines for Creating Security Question article when selecting a new question and answer.
10. Once you have reviewed/edited your answers, sign out.
