Advisor tab is missing in MyBGSU
Question
I am missing the Advisor tab, how do I get it activated?
Answer
For an individual to have access to the Advisor Tab in Peoplesoft CSS they must have the security role BG_CS_ADVISOR_SS or BG_CS_FACULTY_SS.
If you are listed on the Schedule of Classes and have FACEMP affiliation, you will receive the BG_CS_FACULTY_SS security role automatically.
If you are in a student "advisory" position, you should request the BG_CS_ADVISER_SS role. Other advisor security roles may be needed for an advisor position. Please see your manager for additional roles to request.
