What is BGLinux?
Answer
BGLinux is a virtual machine running the Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating system with six Intel Xeon virtual CPUs and 24GB of RAM. It is generally used by students and faculty to run various Unix applications such as compilers, mathematical packages, and simulations.
