How are general use classrooms and computer lab reservations and cancellations handled?

Reserving a Computer Lab for a Class

General use classrooms and computer labs are primarily for scheduled academic classes. Those classes receive first priority. After classes have been scheduled, Registration and Records can be contacted at classes@bgsu.edu to request a reservation in a general use classroom or computer lab for other instructional activities.

Reserving a Computer Lab for a Non-Academic Event

For other non-academic needs, please contact Conference and Event Services.

Guest Access to BGSU Computer Labs

BGSU Faculty or Staff members hosting an event in which guests will be using the computers may request one-time guest access to the computers in a specific computer lab. Requests for guest access must be entered at least two weeks before the event is to occur.

To request guest access to the computers in a computer lab, please complete the Classroom/Lab Software Install Request form. When asked for a software application to install, please indicate that you would like a local login to be created.

If the guests only need access to the wireless network, please follow the steps in our BGSU Guest Wireless knowledge article instead.
