Helpful Tips:
Classroom computers/PCs include standard software, such as Microsoft Office, Google Chrome, VLC Media Player, and more. If you need a particular software, please contact us ahead of time to make arrangements, or submit your request for the installation of software on a classroom computer.
Using the Classroom Computer/PC
- With the projection system ON, select PC/PC main on the control panel.
- If there is no image, move the mouse or press a key on the keyboard to wake the computer.
- Log in to the computer using your BGSU ID and password.
- Log OFF or Restart when finished using the classroom PC — do not shut down.
Issue: Black Screen or No Signal
- Verify PC is powered ON:
- PC is either located behind the monitor, in the was AV cabinet, or in the Enook.
- Restart the computer.
- Toggle Display Mute:
- Press the Display Mute button on the control panel.
Issue: No Sound from Classroom Computer/PC
- Verify the sound is not muted or turned down on the computer itself.
- Verify Extron HDMI is set as the audio output in the audio setting.
