How do I clear my browser cookies, cache and history?
Answer
Occasionally, the university will perform necessary upgrades to our websites and services. After one of these websites or services are updated, users may run into issues regarding the aforementioned upgrades. If you run into any issues, you can try one of the following resolutions. Clearing the cookies, cache, and history on any browser will help remove old data that may be causing you problems.

Clear Cache/History in Mozilla Firefox
- Open Firefox.
- Select history from the menu bar.
- If menu bar is missing, right-click on a blank space above the address bar and select Menu Bar.
- Select clear recent history.
- Select everything from the time range to clear.
- Check each box shown and select OK to finish the process.
- Restart Firefox.
Clear Cache/History in Microsoft Edge
- Open Microsoft Edge.
- Select ellipses (...) from the menu bar.
- Select History.
- Select ellipses (...) again from the history bar.
- Select Clear browsing data.
- Verify Browsing history and Cookies are selected.
- Select Clear now to finish the process.
Clear Cache/History in Google Chrome
- Open the Chrome menu via the three-line icon located at the top right of the window.
- Select More Tools.
- Select clear browsing data.
- Confirm if any items should be unchecked/excluded.
- Select the advanced tab.
- For the time range, select the displayed range to see options and select all time.
- Select clear data to finish the process. A restart of Chrome is recommended.
Clear Cache/History in Safari
- Open Safari.
- Select history from the menu bar.
- Select clear history.
- Select all history from the drop down.
- Select clear history to finish the process.
