Expand the panels in this article for instructions on how to edit the metadata of a single asset and multiple assets in ZDAM.
Editing the Metadata of a Single Asset
- Navigate to the asset for which you would like to edit the metadata.
- Select the pencil icon under the asset thumbnail to open the Edit menu.
- Select the metadata field you wish to edit.
- Update the metadata fields.
- Select Save Configuration when you are finished editing.
- Select Confirm to confirm that you would like to save your changes.
Editing the Metadata of Multiple Assets in Bulk
- Navigate to and select the folder holding the assets with metadata you would like to edit
- In the view screen, select the Actions drop-down and choose Save results to collection.
- This will add all of the content in that folder into a the collection that is open in the collection bar at the bottom of the page. Please make sure that this collection does not contain assets with metadata that you do not want to edit.
- In the collection action bar select Edit assets.
- This will open the edit metadata screen where you can make your changes.
- Select Save to save your changes
