Creating a New BGSU Blog

Question

How do I create a new BGSU Blog?

Answer

  1. Login to blogs.bgsu.edu. 
  2. Select My Sites from the top left corner of the screen.
  3. Select Add New.
  4. Complete the form on the page that loads. 
    • Site Name: This is what will identify your blog in a URL.  No spaces or special characters are allowed.  If you choose newblog, then your site will be located at https://blogs.bgsu.edu/newblog.
    • Site Title:  This can be a readable name for your site.  Example: Brand New Blog
  5. Select Create Site.
  6. You now have a new site on blogs.bgsu.edu.
