Requesting a University Device(s) for an Event


Instructions to assist in submitting a University Device Request for a BGSU event.



How do I request a University-owned device for a university event?


To request a University device(s) for use at a University event you must submit a University Device Request form to ITS. Below are some additional tips/guidelines for submitting this request:

  1.  Select the Event option from the "What will this device be used for?" drop-down menu.
    • Event requests are issued a gently-used device.
    • Number of devices requested is subject to the availability of ITS inventory.
    • If the event is recurring, please submit a separate University Device Request form for each individual event/date. 
  2. What type of event is this?
    • Please be as detailed as possible when completing this field so ITS can ensure provided device(s) are appropriate for the event.
  3. Will people without BGSU accounts be using this device?
    • It is important to inform ITS if people without BGSU accounts will be using the device(s) as they require special configuration.
  4. Review our list of Standard Software to determine if you need to request additional, non-standard software. Request non-standard software here.
  5. The Owner in this instance is the person with whom ITS will contact to coordinate the configuration, setup and return of the devices.
